On their turn, each player must roll the dice to determine how many steps they can take before moving their way up the board. Whilst doing this, players must try to avoid landing on squares with ‘snakes’ on them at all costs, whilst seizing opportunities to fast-track to the finish line by climbing various ladders situated in numerous positions across the 3m square playing mat.

The main difference between the classic, table top Snakes and Ladders game and the new, larger Giant Snakes and Ladders game is that the players themselves are the counters, making this outdoor game even more competitive than the original.
